Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AI Shorts Studio at aishorts.studio (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Account & Sign-in

You may create an account with an email address and password, or sign in with Google (including Google One Tap) or GitHub where those options are shown on the sign-in page. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

2. The Service

AI Shorts Studio is an AI short-video workspace for writing scripts, managing references, building storyboards and generating images and video clips with third-party AI models. Features and available models may change over time. Generation results are produced by AI and may be inaccurate, unexpected or vary between runs.

3. Credits & Pricing

• Generations are paid for with credits. The credit cost of each generation is shown on the generate button before you submit, and depends on the model and settings (for example resolution or duration).
• Credits are deducted when a generation task is submitted. If a task fails, the credits deducted for that task are automatically returned to your balance.
• Credits are consumed in order of earliest expiry first.
• Expiry: Free credits granted at sign-up are valid for a limited period (currently 7 days by default, as stated in the sign-up dialog). Purchased credits are valid for the period stated on the pricing plan at the time of purchase; credits without a stated period do not expire. Expired credits cannot be restored or redeemed for cash.
• Credits have no cash value and are not transferable between accounts.

4. Payments

Payments are processed by our third-party payment providers (Stripe, Creem or PayPal, as shown at checkout). We do not store your full card details. Prices are shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase; applicable taxes may be added by the payment provider.

6. Generated Content & Ownership

As between you and us, you own the prompts and materials you upload and, to the extent permitted by law and by the terms of the underlying model providers, the images and videos you generate. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display your content solely to operate the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights to any material you upload and that your use of generated content complies with applicable law. AI-generated content may not be eligible for copyright protection in some jurisdictions.

7. Prohibited Content & Acceptable Use

Prompts and uploads are subject to automated content moderation, and requests that violate our policies are rejected. You must not use the Service to create or distribute:

• sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualises minors;
• non-consensual intimate imagery, or sexually explicit content depicting real people;
• content that impersonates real people to deceive, including deceptive deepfakes;
• content that promotes violence, terrorism, self-harm or hatred against protected groups;
• content that infringes the intellectual property or privacy of others;
• malware, spam, fraud or other illegal content.

You must not attempt to bypass moderation, abuse free credits (for example through multiple accounts), or interfere with the Service.

8. Third-Party Models & Services

Generations are performed by third-party AI models (such as Seedance, MiniMax, Wan, Veo and GPT Image) accessed through third-party AI model providers. Your use of those models is also subject to their applicable policies. See our Privacy Policy for the processors involved.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy).

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
